COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

THE PROMOTER

The Promoter is That Boutique-y Gin Company or otherwise known as TBGC. Just so you know, our legal name is Atom Supplies Limited. We are a company registered and incorporated in England and Wales with the company register number 03193057 and having its registered office at Unit 1 Ton Business Park, 2-8 Morley Road, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1RA, United Kingdom.

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?

  1. The #24DaysOfBoutiqueyGin 2018 competition (the Competition) is only open to private individuals (each being an Entrant) who are 18 years old or older and residents in the United Kingdom. Ineligible entries (howsoever received) will be discarded.
  2. The Competition is not open to any employees of Atom Supplies Limited or any of their associated companies (including TBGC), their families or friends.

HOW TO ENTER

  1. The Competition Period shall commence at 12:00:01 am on 1 December 2018 and end at 23:59:59 pm on 24 December 2018.
  2. To enter the Competition, Entrants must share a photo, video, or text post on Instagram depicting or describing their favourite cocktail or way of serving using a dram of gin from a That Boutique-y Gin Company Advent Calendar along with hashtag #24DaysOfThatBoutiqueyGin within the Competition Period and must follow @BoutiqueyGin on Instagram (each a Qualifying Entry).
  3. By submitting a Qualifying Entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  4. Multiple entries are permitted, encouraged even!
  5. No purchase is necessary, and no payment is required to participate in the Competition.

HOW TO WIN

  1. TBGC will select one favourite entry from all Qualifying Entries and therefore one Winner in its absolute discretion.
  2. The selections made will be at TBGC’s absolute discretion and will be final. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

WHAT IS THE PRIZE?

  1. The Winner will win a so-called “Yuletide Gin Boutique-y Christmas Kit”, consisting of two bottles of 50cl Yuletide Gin, two bottles of 500ml Aromatic Tonic, one bottle of 70cl white Italian bitter liqueur and one bottle of 1l white Vermouth (Prize).
  2. There is one prize available in total and therefore one Winner. The Prize is inclusive of packaging and carriage.
  3. The Prize is provided by TBGC, and cannot be exchanged for any equivalent cash value, cash alternative, or for other items. The Prize is strictly non-transferable, not negotiable or transferable.

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT AND HOW TO CLAIM THE PRIZE

  1. The name of the Winner along with their Instagram handle (where applicable) will be announced on TBGC’s Instagram as soon as practicable after the Competition Period.
  2. TBGC will make reasonable efforts to contact the Winner via Instagram Direct Message as soon as practicable after the Competition Period. If the Winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed the Prize within 7 days of TBGC contacting them, TBGC reserves the right to offer the Prize to another eligible Entrant. TBGC cannot accept any responsibility if the Winner is unable to take up the Prize or fails to claim the Prize within the time limit as set out above.
  3. In order to redeem the Prize, the Winner acknowledge and agree that they will be required to provide further details in order for TBGC to fulfil the Prize, these will include but are not limited to proof of legal drinking age and the Winner’s delivery address.
  4. In order to accept the Prize, the Winner shall be required to agree that we can use his or her name and county, state or region of residence (as applicable) when announcing the Winner and of the Competition and for other reasonable and related promotional purposes (nothing sinister, and we won’t sell the Winner’s ’ or any other Entrants’ details to anybody else – we promise). TBGC may contact the Winner for feedback in respect of the Competition and/or Prize and may use any feedback provided when announcing the results and promoting the Competition or subsequent competitions.
  5. TBGC will send the name and county of the Winner to anyone who writes within one month after the end of the Competition Period requesting details of the Winner and who encloses a self-addressed envelope to the address set out herein.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  1. TBGC will not be responsible for any entries which are incorrectly submitted using different hashtags or which are not publicly visible or are removed from Instagram for any reason before the end of the Competition Period.
  2. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, employees, and/or representatives shall in no circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or any or Entrants for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever and howsoever caused, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any direct, indirect or consequential losses arising out of or in connection with or as a result of Entrants participating in the Competition or the Winner taking up the Prize or any failure or delays in taking up the Prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents, employees, and/or authorised representatives. Entrants' statutory rights are not affected.

ENTRY CONTENT, OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

  1. Let’s be sensible, people. By commenting on our website and on social channels which we are running the Competition on, you agree to only post comments that comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Any post which depicts, describes, encourages, endorses or normalises the excessive consumption of alcohol, the consumption of alcohol by those under the age of 25, anti-social behaviour (including any criminal activity) or irresponsible drinking (including rapid drinking), which links the consumption of alcohol with popularity or other social success, bravado, technical skill, good fortune, the operation of vehicles or other machinery or therapeutic benefits, or which depicts the consumption of alcohol whilst potentially dangerous activities are being undertaken will be disqualified.
  2. Entrants warrant and undertake that they own all rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property rights) in any image and/or text post with which they enter the Competition. As between each Entrant and TBGC, TBGC shall own all rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property rights) in any image and/or text post which is entered into the Competition. Entrants waive all moral rights in the image, video or text to which they are or become entitled under Chapter IV of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (or any similar right or entitlement anywhere in the world).

DATA PROTECTION

  1. TBGC is committed to protecting your privacy, in particular in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA). TBGC will only process your personal information as set out in TBGC’s Privacy Policy (as amended from time to time), a current copy of which is available at: https://www.thatboutiqueygincompany.com/privacy-policy/.
  2. By entering into the Competition, the Entrant is accepting and consenting to the terms of TBGC’s Privacy Policy and to the way TBGC processes their personal information.

GENERAL

  1. TBGC reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms or any attempt to circumvent or to frustrate them, TBGC may, in our sole discretion, exclude any person from participating in the Competition.
  2. These terms shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

30ml Finger Lime Gin

45ml Cocchi Americano
Add all ingredients to a rocks glass over ice, stir to chill. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Grapefruit twist and discard

Mulled Cherry Chai
30ml Cherry Gin
10ml Sweet Vermouth (Belsazar Red preferable)
Teaspoon Spiced Chai Powder
Dash chocolate bitters
Whole egg

Add all ingredients in a shaker and shake without ice for 30secs to emulsify egg
Add ice and shake for a further 10secs
Strain into rocks glass over a ice sphere and top with freshly grated nutmeg

Gin Mulled Wine

500ml Port

1bsp brown sugar

1 lemon peel & juice

1 orange peel & juice

Diced pineapple

3 whole cloves

3 cinnamon sticks

Pinch of nutmeg


Simmer for half an hour, strain and add 20-30ml Cobnut Ghost Gin in each glass

Spray some silver edible shimmer spray into a coupe glass
Add rest of ingredients into a shaker with ice, shake for at least 30 seconds
Double strain into the glass and give a stir to mix shimmer and so it holds in suspension

30ml Rhubarb Triangle Gin

3 pieces chopped fresh ginger

Honey, to taste

1 x slice orange

1 x cinnamon stick

Dash of turmeric


RHUBARB TRIANGLE GIN

30ml Aged Perry’s Tot Gin

7 ml Luxardo maraschino

2 dashes Angostura bitters

Fill a tumbler with ice, add the ingredients, stir to blend, chill and dilute slightly. Squeeze a strip of orange peel over the top, then garnish with a fresh slice of orange.

Pineapple Gimlet

60mL Spit Roasted Pineapple gin

30mL Fresh Lime Juice

15mL Sugar Syrup

Shake with lots of ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of toasted pineapple.

SPIT-ROASTED PINEAPPLE GIN

2 tsp runny honey

2 tsp hot water

15ml freshly squeezed lemon juice

15ml freshly squeezed orange juice

A twist of orange to garnish

2 slices of Cucumber

15 ml of Lime juice

20ml of Black Pepper Syrup (homemade)

60ml of TBGC Strawberry and Balsamico

Splash of Soda

Muddle Strawberries, Cucumber and Lime with the Black Pepper Syrup In Cocktail Shaker. Add Strawberry and Balsamico Gin and Ice. Give it a good TBGC shake !! Add crushed ice to an Old Fashioned Glass. Pour contents over ice , add a soda top. Garnish with Fresh basil, Strawberry ,a Cucumber round and a twist of cracked Black Pepper.


STRAWBERRY & BALSAMICO GIN

Orangewater Negroni.

1 part (30ml) Monastic gin

1 part Amaro Montenegro

1 part Grand Marnier (or similar orange liqueur)

Dash of Lavender bitters

Garnish with orange twist

Stir the Monastic gin, Amaro Montenegro and Grand Marnier with ice in a mixing glass until it starts to frost. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice block, add the bitters and garnish with an orange twist.

15ml Lime Juice

10ml ginger and cinnamon syrup

1 dash Angostura bitters

1 eggwhites

+ crushed pink peppercorns as garnish

Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake vigorously with a single ice cube (for the foam)Add more ice and shake for 10-12 seconds for dilution and chilling

Double strain in couple glass and garnish with pink peppercorns

200ml double cream

30ml TBGC Very Old Tom

70g unsalted butter

240g golden granulated sugar

150g golden syrup

1-2 tsp flaked sea salt


1. Butter a 19.5cm x 9.5cm x 7cm sized loaf tin. Line with lightly oiled non-stick baking parchment that comes up the sides and ends of the tin.

2. In a saucepan, bring the cream, TBGC Very Old Tom and butter to simmering, then remove from the heat.

3. In a separate pan, gently melt the sugar and golden syrup over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Do not stir – gently swirl the pan instead. Once the sugar has melted, raise the heat and cook until the temperature reaches 155°C. Turn off the heat and immediately add the cream, then combine using a whisk. Place back on the heat and cook until the temperature reaches 127°C.

4.Pour into the lined tin. Leave to cool for 15 minutes, then sprinkle with the sea salt. Leave to set at room temperature overnight. Cut into pieces using a lightly oiled sharp knife and wrap each one individually in greaseproof paper.

100 ml Fentimen’s Mediterranean orange tonic water (or similar - eg Fevertree Clementine)

2 dashes of hotel chocolat chocolate butters (or similar)

Lots of ice in a cola glass

Garnish with zest of fresh orange (squeeze peel to get the oils zested over the top and wipe the rim of the glass

30ml Yuzu Gin

15ml fresh Lime juice

10ml sugar syrup (can be made with 1:1 ratio of sugar and water)

1 small egg white

Dash of bitters (cinnamon is an alternative)

-Mix Yuzu Gin, lime juice, sugar syrup and egg white in a shaker.

-Add ice to fill and shake!

-Strain into a glass and sprinkle the bitters to serve.

-Enjoy!

Cucamelon Cooler

30 ml Cucamelon Gin

60 ml watermelon juice

1 tsp caster sugar

1 mint leaf

¼ of a lime

Squeeze lime into shaker, add sugar and gin

Stir to dissolve sugar

Add watermelon juice, mint leaves, and ice

Shake everything quickly and strain into ice filled pint glass


YULETIDE GIN

CUCAMELON GIN
